Gateway Split
This mid-century modern home transformation was all about making the most of what was already there. As first-time homeowners, the couple wanted to create a warm, cohesive, and welcoming space while working within a manageable scope. With a thoughtful approach, we focused on impactful yet budget-friendly updates—fresh paint, upgraded lighting, new hardware for doors and cabinets, custom closet systems, and select flooring updates. A larger renovation is planned for the future, but for now, the goal was to enhance the existing space with smart, stylish changes.
In the lower bathroom, the original 1960s fixtures were preserved, but we infused the space with a fresh, funky design that nods to Art Deco influences, blending vintage charm with a bold, modern twist.
With a love for art and an eclectic aesthetic, the homeowners embraced bold design choices. Their collection is extensive, but wall space was limited, so we curated standout art accent walls—one in the entryway and another in the dining room—to display their favourite pieces in a visually compelling way.
